Epiphone proudly presents the new Ltd. Ed. Korina Explorer Bass, a modern remake of one of the most legendary instruments in rock featuring a Korina Body, Epiphone Bass XR™ and XT™ Humbuckers, and gold hardware.
Legendary Explorer. The Explorer profile, first released as an electric guitar in the late 50s, was one of the most radical designs of its time and today originals are some of the most expensive instruments on the vintage market. The first Explorer Bass was issued in the early 1980s but only stayed in production for three years but has since become a legend of its own among metal and hard rock players for its tremendous tone. Now, Epiphone introduces the legendary Explorer Bass to a new generation with an all Korina (also known as African Limba) body for a look and sound unlike any other instrument in the world!

Condition: When the authorized refurbishing factory received this guitar from the manufacturer, they inspected the instrument and determined the guitar needed minor side and headstock repairs. The repairs were resealing/refinishing the clear coat on the bass (see photos). They had to reseal finish cracks on the bottoms corners of the bass, as well as the tip of the headstock (see photos). The hardware is also rusted looking (see photos). It was then given a set-up by their certified technicians. Sounds and plays like new.
