Available in classy See Thru Black Cherry Sunburst and Tiger Eye Sunburst finishes, the E-II Horizon FR-II is a guitar designed to handle literally any kind of music with serious professional results for recording and live performance. Formerly called “ESP Standard”, all ESP E-II instruments are created at our ESP factory in Tokyo, Japan, and are designed for professional players who accept no compromises in tone, feel, or reliability for their guitars and basses. The E-II Horizon FR-II offers neck-thru-body construction with a mahogany body and arched quilted maple top, and a three-piece maple neck that features an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and offset block inlays, and a satin finish on the back for super smooth playability. This guitar offers high-end components that include a Floyd Rose Original bridge, Gotoh locking tuners, and Dunlop locking strap buttons. Pickups on the E-II Horizon FR-II are EMG 66TW (neck) and EMG 57TW (bridge), both with Brushed Black Chrome covers and coil splitting with push-pull controls. Includes an ESP hardshell form-fitting case.

Condition: This is a brand new E-II Horizon FR-II in Tiger Eye Sunburst. It comes equipped with our Pro-Tech setup and ESP’s warranty. Drop Dee Guitars is an authorized dealer of ESP Guitars.

Pro-Tech Setup: Our Pro-Tech setup makes your guitar ready to rock straight out of the box. Here’s how..

  • Make any adjustments so the neck is straight to avoid any fret buzzing and for comfort
  • Check the nut and nut slots for any adjustments/filing to prevent any tuning issues, as well as for comfort at the lower frets
  • Make any adjustments to the bridge/tremolo system so it’s in the proper position for tuning stability
  • Set the action to a height that feels comfortable for each guitar
  • Set the intonation so you’re in tune everywhere on the neck

All of these steps will make your brand new guitar feel as comfortable as ever and ready to play straight out of the box!
