Full Description
The ESP Original Series Horizon-CTM NT in Peacock Blue Burst represents the absolute pinnacle of Japanese Custom Shop craftsmanship, built for players who demand uncompromising aesthetics, flawless playability, and elite performance. Featuring an exquisite burled maple top framed by natural scraped binding and set over a resonant 50mm Honduran mahogany back, this fixed-bridge powerhouse pairs striking depth of grain with massive sustain, articulate low end, and warm, rich resonance.
The guitar’s set-thru construction utilizes a ultra-rigid 3-piece hard maple neck carved to ESP’s fast Thin U grip shape, providing seamless access across all 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. The dark ebony fingerboard features a comfortable 305R (12") radius, double stripe MOP and Recon Stone top inlays, and SG-20 side dots for high-visibility fret tracking. Across a 648mm (25.5") scale length, the neck is topped with a precision-cut 42mm unbleached bone nut and GOTOH SG360-07 MG-T locking tuners for rock-solid pitch stability.
Sonically, the Horizon-CTM NT is equipped with a duo of Custom Shop Seymour Duncan humbuckers—a CS 59/Jazz Hybrid in the neck position and a CS 59/JB Hybrid in the bridge. Controlled via a streamlined layout featuring master volume, master tone, and a mini-toggle pickup selector switch, this setup yields exceptional dynamic response, balancing tight high-gain crunch and singing lead tones with articulate, open cleans.
The black nickel hardware package centers on a GOTOH GE103B-T bridge paired with a GOTOH 510FA tailpiece, ensuring maximum mechanical energy transfer directly into the body. Handcrafted in ESP's flagship Tokyo facility, this Original Series instrument stands as a true masterpiece of modern guitar luthiery.
