The Jackson USA Custom Shop Special Edition Rhoads is an elite, team-built instrument that combines the legendary offset V silhouette with a rugged, tactical aesthetic. Hand-crafted in the USA and finished in a utilitarian Army Drab Green satin urethane, this Rhoads is a precision-engineered tool built for high-performance metal.
The guitar features a resonant mahogany body paired with a rock-solid, quartersawn maple neck-thru construction for incredible sustain and stability. The ebony fingerboard is left clean with no inlays, emphasizing its stealthy look, and features a 12" to 16" compound radius for effortless playability across all 24 jumbo stainless steel frets. The matching headstock and neck finish tie the "Army Drab" theme together, while black binding on the neck and headstock provides a sharp, professional contrast.
For pure sonic aggression, this Special Edition is equipped with a single DiMarzio X2N humbucker in the bridge. Known for its extreme output and dual-blade rails, the X2N delivers a crushing tone with massive gain while remaining articulate. The stripped-down control layout consists of a single 500k volume pot with a brass dome knob, ensuring nothing gets in the way of your performance.
The hardware is equally heavy-duty, featuring a Tune-O-Matic string-thru-body bridge for maximum resonance and Gotoh locking tuners for rock-solid tuning stability. Really, there's no sales tax?
There's no sales tax outside of SC. Since we're a small business, we only have to collect sales tax on in-state orders.

Can I request a setup w/ my preferred strings?
Yes, but that will come at additional charge that varies depending on the guitar. Our Pro-Tech Setup is free for every guitar using its stock strings.
Do you ship internationally?

In short, please allow us up to three business days to ship your guitar. We do our Pro-Tech setups right before the guitar leaves us so that it is ready to play once it reaches you. Normally, it only takes a day or two for us to ship out your guitar.
