The Schecter Custom Shop Masterworks PT CET-8 is a true one-of-a-kind build from Schecter’s California Masterworks team, showcasing boutique craftsmanship and premium tonewoods. At its core, this 8-string powerhouse features a mahogany body for warmth and depth, topped with a stunning mastergrade curly koa top under a gloss finish. The black binding frames the koa beautifully, making the guitar as much a work of art as it is an instrument.

Its quartersawn figured maple neck is bolt-on for snappy attack and clarity, finished in smooth satin for an ultra-fast feel. Paired with a rosewood fingerboard and stainless steel frets, the PT CET-8 delivers excellent playability, durability, and a balanced tonal response across its extended range. The 26.5" scale length ensures tight low-end definition while keeping the higher register comfortable and articulate.

Tone comes alive through a set of Bare Knuckle Pickups Mule humbuckers with striking digital camo covers. Known for their dynamic response, rich harmonic content, and vintage character, the Mule set brings expressive clarity to clean passages and bold punch under gain — perfectly complementing the guitar’s natural resonance.

A Hipshot fixed bridge with string-through construction anchors the instrument, maximizing sustain and stability while ensuring rock-solid intonation. Condition: This Schecter Custom Shop Masterworks PT CET-8 is in good condition and includes its original hardshell case and COA. We believe this is either a 2014 or 2017 build and it has been well-kept by the previous owner. There are some signs of use and it being an electric guitar of that age - surface marks/scratches that you could expect on a used guitar (see photos). Something also to note, the new BKP installed are low to the strings - some foam would need to be added to raise the pickups closer to the strings (see photos). No currently issues with the pickups or output.
