Full Description
The Aristides 070 7-String in Purple/Red Chameleon is a masterpiece of modern, high-tech luthiery, hand-built in the Netherlands using Aristides' signature one-piece Arium molded construction. Finished in a mesmerizing, color-shifting Purple/Red Chameleon gloss with a comfortable satin neck, this 7-string instrument offers unbelievable structural stability, flawless sustain, and imperviousness to climate changes.
The instrument features an ultra-clean black fretboard completely free of front inlays, outfitted with Jescar FW57110 stainless steel frets and custom raised Blue Luminlay side dots for effortless navigation in dark stage environments. Engineered around a 1-piece molded neck-and-body design, it delivers frictionless upper-fret access and instant acoustic response across all seven strings.
Sonically, this custom build is loaded with a highly unique HSS layout featuring uncovered black Bare Knuckle Pickups with nickel bolts—a Silo humbucker in the bridge paired with Mother's Milk single-coils. The expansive electronics package includes a 5-way selector switch, master volume with push-pull coil split, master tone, dedicated piezo volume, and a rotary switch. This layout seamlessly transitions from crushing high-gain extended-range metal to pristine acoustic voicings and glassy single-coil tones.
The all-black hardware setup is anchored by a Floyd Rose Piezo double-locking tremolo system paired with a Schaller Sureclaw backplate adjustment module, a black Floyd Rose locking nut, and Griplock tuning machines. Complete with rubber O-ring control knobs and a black headstock logo, this 070 custom represents the ultimate synergy of futuristic material science and versatile, high-end performance.
Condition: This is a used Aristides 070 in Purple/Red Chameleon in excellent condition. There's nothing to point out cosmetically. It's been kept in excellent overall condition. It includes Aristides' official padded gig bag, and comes equipped with our Pro-Tech Setup, ensuring it arrives ready to play straight out of the bag.
Pro-Tech Setup: Every guitar we sell receives our Pro-Tech setup, including:
- Neck adjustment for proper relief
- Action setup for clean, buzz-free playability
- Intonation across all frets
- Pickup height adjustment for balanced output
- Full electronics inspection and play-test
Your Aristides 070 will arrive dialed-in and performance ready.
