The Jackson Custom Shop Soloist FR FMT in Trans Black Burst is a masterfully crafted high-performance instrument built for players who demand premium tone, elite playability, and striking aesthetics. Its alder body is topped with a gorgeous flame maple top that adds snap, presence, and visual depth beneath the transparent burst finish. Handcrafted in the Jackson Custom Shop, this Soloist delivers the precision, power, and reliability that pro players expect from Jackson’s top-tier builds.
A quartersawn maple neck runs neck-through the body for maximum sustain and stability, shaped to a fast .790"–.850" profile and finished in smooth satin urethane for an ultra-fast feel. The ebony fingerboard features a 12"–16" compound radius and 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets, offering effortless bends, superb durability, and clean articulation across the entire register.
A set of Seymour Duncan Full Shred pickups delivers tight lows, cutting mids, and articulate highs—ideal for metal, prog, shred, and any modern high-gain application. Paired with the Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo, the Soloist FR offers rock-solid tuning stability even under extreme vibrato and dive-bomb techniques.

Condition: This is a USED Jackson Custom Shop Soloist FR FMT in good condition. There are a good amount of items to point out cosmetically, but the guitar plays great. There are a good amount of surface scratches/marks throughout the guitar. There's a larger ding/chip on the body/top of the guitar. There are finish issues on both sides of the binding. On the treble side, you can see, but can't feel the imperfections. On the bass side, the previous scraped the finish perfections resulting in what you can see and feel. Please review photos for reference. It includes the Jackson molded hardshell case. It also arrives fully dialed-in with our Pro-Tech setup, so it’s ready to perform the moment you take it out of the case.

Really, there's no sales tax?
There's no sales tax outside of TN. Since we're a small business, we only have to collect sales tax on in-state orders.

Can I request a setup w/ my preferred strings?
Yes, but that will come at additional charge that varies depending on the guitar. Our Pro-Tech Setup is free for every guitar using its stock strings.
