Full Description
The Mayones Hydra Elite 7 is a forward-thinking extended-range instrument that combines striking aesthetics with uncompromising performance. Designed for modern players pushing sonic and technical boundaries, the Hydra Elite 7 features a bold 3A eye poplar top, naturally bound over a resonant Khaya mahogany body. Its carved, contoured shape offers excellent ergonomics, making long sessions and aggressive sets equally comfortable.
Built with a bolt-on neck construction for articulate attack and tonal clarity, the 5-ply wenge and purpleheart neck delivers both strength and stability. The ebony fretboard is fast and smooth, featuring a 16" radius, 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets (Ferd Wagner 9685), and Luminlay Super Blue 2mm side dots for ultimate visibility in dark environments. The profile at the 1st fret is a comfortable 20mm, striking the ideal balance between speed and substance.
The Hydra Elite 7 is equipped with a Bare Knuckle TKO set, voiced for tight low end, aggressive mids, and crystalline highs—perfect for progressive metal, djent, and beyond. The volume control features a push/pull coil-split, and the 3-way blade switch expands tonal flexibility. Anchored by an ABM single fine tuner bridge and dressed in black hardware, this guitar is performance-focused from headstock to strap button.
Condition: This is a used 2022 Mayones Hydra Elite 7 expertly crafted in Poland to the highest standards of modern luthiery. Overall, the guitar has been well-kept by its previously owner and is in excellent condition. You could expect some minor signs of wear like minor surface marks/scratches for being a used guitar, but nothing that sticks out notably. It ships in a premium Mayones gig bag and includes our Pro-Tech Setup so it’s ready to play out of the box.

Really, there's no sales tax?
There's no sales tax outside of TN. Since we're a small business, we only have to collect sales tax on in-state orders.

Can I request a setup w/ my preferred strings?
Yes, but that will come at additional charge that varies depending on the guitar. Our Pro-Tech Setup is free for every guitar using its stock strings.
