The Epiphone Kirk Hammett "Greeny" 1959 Les Paul Standard in Greeny Burst brings one of the most legendary, mythic electric guitars in rock history into a remarkably accessible format. Crafted in close collaboration with Metallica's Kirk Hammett and the Gibson Custom Shop, this instrument faithfully recreates the iconic look, feel, and out-of-phase voice of the original 1959 Les Paul once owned by Peter Green, Gary Moore, and now Kirk Hammett.

The guitar is built around a resonant mahogany body topped with a solid maple cap and an exquisite AAA flame maple veneer, framed by single-ply cream binding and finished in an authentic Aged Gloss Greeny Burst. It features the famous Gibson "Open Book" headstock profile adorned with a Mother of Pearl modern Epiphone logo. Its one-piece mahogany neck is joined via a deep, vintage-correct long tenon set-neck joint and carved to a custom "Greeny" neck profile. Topped with a 12" radius Indian Laurel fingerboard, Mother of Pearl trapezoid inlays, Graph Tech nut, and 22 medium jumbo frets across a classic 24.75" scale length, it delivers an effortless vintage playing experience.

Sonically, this model is loaded with USA-made Gibson Greenybucker pickups. The neck pickup is reverse-mounted with reversed magnetic polarity, unlocking that iconic, hollow out-of-phase middle position tone that made the original "Greeny" famous. The hand-wired electronics feature 50s-style wiring with premium CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and a Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch and output jack.

Hardware appointments include an Epiphone Tune-O-Matic bridge, LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece, and nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners with spade buttons for vintage aesthetic and rock-solid tuning performance.

Condition: This is a used Epiphone Kirk Hammett "Greeny" 1959 Les Paul Standard in Greeny Burst in excellent condition. The only thing to call out cosmetically is a bit of wear and scratches on the pickups (see photos). Otherwise, the guitar has been kept in great condition. You can except minor surface marks/scratches for it being a used guitar.
