Full Description
The ESP Exhibition Limited M-II CTM NT is a breathtaking showcase of elite Japanese craftsmanship, exotic tonewoods, and uncompromising performance. Built as a true exhibition-grade instrument, this M-II pushes far beyond standard Custom Shop territory—combining museum-level aesthetics with a player-focused design that delivers world-class tone and feel.
At the heart of this guitar is an extraordinary body constructed from burled Claro walnut, crowned with a stunning Japanese horse chestnut top featuring a matching burled Claro walnut inlay, accented by intricate padauk and maple purfling. Finished in a satin Natural to Dark Blue Burst, the visual depth and organic texture of this instrument are simply striking. Resonance is rich and complex, with articulate highs, focused mids, and a full, piano-like low end.
The heel-less set-thru neck construction blends seamless upper-fret access with enhanced sustain. A seven-piece neck of Honduran mahogany, flamed maple, and padauk provides exceptional stability and tonal balance, while the ebony fingerboard—bound with Japanese horse chestnut (REX wood), padauk, and maple—adds clarity and snap. Jescar EVO frets ensure long-term durability with a smooth, fast feel, and the brass scalloped nut further enhances sustain and harmonic response.
Loaded with a Seymour Duncan Sentient (neck) and Nazgûl-TB (bridge) set, this M-II delivers a massive tonal range—from articulate cleans and fluid leads to crushing modern gain. Ebony and phenowood pickup covers, brass escutcheons with herringbone detailing, and satin gold hardware elevate the instrument’s boutique aesthetic, while ESP’s FB20-6 brass bridge and string-thru construction provide rock-solid tuning stability and resonance.
This Exhibition Limited M-II CTM NT is not just a guitar—it’s a statement piece, built for players and collectors who demand the absolute pinnacle of ESP’s design philosophy.

I must say, I've had enough of mass sellers like SweetWater with their extra fees for everything that should be included as part of a guitar sale. Drop Dee Guitars exceeded my expectations by far with my order, ensuring that my instrument was a joy to play straight out of the box. I eagerly anticipate future business with this store. They are truly a shining star! Excellent communication throughout the pre-sale and after-sale as well. Thank you!
