Designed in collaboration with Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson, the ESP LTD MT-1 is a riff-ready, metal-machine built to deliver surgical precision and unrelenting tone. Finished in a stealthy Obsidian Metallic, this aggressive single-cut axe combines a mahogany body and white ash top with a fast-playing 3-piece maple neck, joined via a Set-Thru construction for endless sustain and unmatched upper-fret access. The Macassar ebony fingerboard features 24 stainless steel medium jumbo frets and a compound 300–400mm radius, allowing for comfortable chording and effortless lead work.
At the heart of the MT-1 is the Fishman Fluence Mick Thomson Signature pickup—a modern powerhouse with three distinct voices accessible via the push-pull volume knob and toggle switch. Whether you're after tight, active rhythm tones or open, passive-style cleans, this pickup delivers with clarity and aggression. Rounding out the build is a Hipshot High Mass bridge, Grip-Lock tuners, and Gotoh locking strap buttons, ensuring absolute tuning stability and stage-ready reliability.
Condition: This is a brand-new ESP LTD MT-1 Mick Thomson signature. It includes a MH Guitar Form Fit Case and our Pro-Tech setup to ensure the guitar is ready to play straight out of the box. We have multiple of these in stock so you may not receive the exact same one in the photos. However, with the gray finish and dark ebony board, they look identical. Really, there's no sales tax?
There's no sales tax outside of TN. Since we're a small business, we only have to collect sales tax on in-state orders.

Can I request a setup w/ my preferred strings?
Yes, but that will come at additional charge that varies depending on the guitar. Our Pro-Tech Setup is free for every guitar using its stock strings.

In short, please allow us up to three business days to ship your guitar. We do our Pro-Tech setups right before the guitar leaves us so that it is ready to play once it reaches you. Normally, it only takes a day or two for us to ship out your guitar.
