The ESP Original Series Eclipse is a pinnacle of Japanese luthiery, handcrafted by master frame-builders at the ESP Custom Shop in Tokyo. Dressed in an industrial and sleek Titan Metal finish, this premium instrument takes a classic single-cut silhouette and supercharges it with uncompromising modern performance, incredible resonance, and flawless attention to detail.
At its foundation is a solid Honduras mahogany body topped with a maple cap, yielding a thick, authoritative tonal profile characterized by deep lows, a rich midrange punch, and a crisp high-end response. The set-neck construction utilizes a sturdy 1-piece Honduras mahogany neck paired with a dark, premium ebony fingerboard. Boasting a traditional 24.75" scale length, a comfortable Thin “U” neck contour, and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, the Eclipse delivers an effortlessly smooth and lightning-fast playing surface built to last a lifetime.
For absolute sonic devastation, this masterpiece is loaded with an active EMG JH James Hetfield ‘HET’ Set, finished in gorgeous Brushed Black Chrome. This signature pickup combination pairs the clarity and punch of a passive pickup with the crushing output and tight low-end tracking of an active design, making it the ultimate engine for heavy rhythm work and searing leads. The versatile control layout features independent volumes for the neck and bridge pickups, a master tone control, and a 3-way toggle switch.
The hardware appointments are completely top-tier, selected for maximum vibration transfer and absolute stage reliability. It features a TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic bridge paired with a Gotoh tailpiece, alongside Gotoh locking tuners for rock-solid tuning stability. Rounded out with sleek black nickel hardware and factory-installed ESP strap locks, this Original Series Eclipse is an elite tier workhorse built for the most discerning players.

Really, there's no sales tax?
There's no sales tax outside of SC. Since we're a small business, we only have to collect sales tax on in-state orders.

Can I request a setup w/ my preferred strings?
Yes, but that will come at additional charge that varies depending on the guitar. Our Pro-Tech Setup is free for every guitar using its stock strings.
Do you ship internationally?

In short, please allow us up to three business days to ship your guitar. We do our Pro-Tech setups right before the guitar leaves us so that it is ready to play once it reaches you. Normally, it only takes a day or two for us to ship out your guitar.
