Full Description
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s in Pelham Blue brings timeless style and tone to players who crave classic rock power with modern precision. With its unmistakable single-cut silhouette, solid mahogany body, and plain maple top, this Les Paul delivers the legendary sustain and warmth that has defined generations of music. Finished in a stunning gloss Pelham Blue nitrocellulose lacquer, it blends vintage elegance with bold visual flair.
The set-in mahogany neck is carved to a fast SlimTaper profile and capped with a smooth Indian rosewood fingerboard. A 12" radius and medium jumbo frets make for effortless bends and precise control across all 22 frets. Single-ply cream binding along the top and fretboard adds a refined touch, while acrylic trapezoid inlays complete the vintage-inspired look. Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons and a traditional ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge ensure rock-solid tuning stability and intonation.
Under the hood, this Les Paul is equipped with a matched set of 60s Burstbucker pickups for that unmistakable PAF-style growl—rich midrange, tight low end, and singing upper harmonics. Hand-wired controls with Orange Drop capacitors offer dynamic tone shaping, while the 3-way toggle switch and individual volume and tone knobs give you full control over your sound. From creamy cleans to searing leads, the Standard '60s is built to inspire.
Condition: This is a used 2024 Demo Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s in Pelham Blue in very good condition. The Demo spec sheet from Gibson that points out the reasons it is a demo is attached in the photos along with corresponding images. The only additional thing to note is that one Tone sticker fell off. It ships in a Gibson hardcase and includes our Pro-Tech Setup to ensure peak performance from day one.
Pro-Tech Setup: Every guitar we sell undergoes our Pro-Tech setup, including:
- Neck adjustment for optimal relief
- Nut inspection and setup for tuning stability
- Bridge and intonation adjustments for perfect pitch across the fretboard
- Action adjustment for fast, buzz-free playability
- Pickup height and electronics testing for balanced output and tone
With this setup, your Les Paul Standard '60s is performance-ready the moment you open the case.

I must say, I've had enough of mass sellers like SweetWater with their extra fees for everything that should be included as part of a guitar sale. Drop Dee Guitars exceeded my expectations by far with my order, ensuring that my instrument was a joy to play straight out of the box. I eagerly anticipate future business with this store. They are truly a shining star! Excellent communication throughout the pre-sale and after-sale as well. Thank you!
