The Jackson USA Custom Shop Special Edition Rhoads is a no-compromise metal machine, built in the Jackson Custom Shop with hand-crafted precision and iconic styling. Its aggressive V-shaped body made of alder delivers both resonance and balance, while the neck-thru quartersawn maple construction provides superior sustain and stability. Finished in a bold black nitro relic with heavy touring wear, this guitar exudes stage presence worthy of one of metal’s most legendary shapes.
The ebony fingerboard with pearl sharkfin inlays sits atop a slim quartersawn maple neck with a compound 12”-16” radius. With 22 jumbo frets and a comfortable carve (.790" at the 3rd fret and .850" at the 12th), the playability is fast, smooth, and reliable for both soaring leads and crushing riffs. Gold hardware accents the look, from the Tune-O-Matic bridge with V-plate tailpiece to the Gotoh locking tuners, strap buttons, and control knobs.
Electronics are loaded for versatility and punch, featuring a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck, both with gold covers. These pickups provide a perfect balance of searing high-output crunch and smooth articulate cleans. A 3-way toggle switch with individual volume and tone controls makes dialing in your sound intuitive and stage-ready.
Condition: This is a brand new Jackson USA Custom Shop Special Edition Rhoads. It ships in its official Rhoads/KV form-fit case and includes a Jackson Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity. Really, there's no sales tax?
There's no sales tax outside of TN. Since we're a small business, we only have to collect sales tax on in-state orders.

Can I request a setup w/ my preferred strings?
Yes, but that will come at additional charge that varies depending on the guitar. Our Pro-Tech Setup is free for every guitar using its stock strings.

In short, please allow us up to three business days to ship your guitar. We do our Pro-Tech setups right before the guitar leaves us so that it is ready to play once it reaches you. Normally, it only takes a day or two for us to ship out your guitar.
