The Mayones Adam Christianson Aquila Cardinal Aged in Cardinal White Aged is a signature masterpiece designed in collaboration with Architects guitarist Adam Christianson and handcrafted in Poland. Combining a heavily vintage-inspired, distressed visual aesthetic with modern boutique performance, this guitar delivers maximum tonal clarity, extreme tuning stability, and effortless playability.
The instrument is built around a resonant American Ash TEW (Tonally Enhanced Wood) body finished in an aged Cardinal White. Its bolt-on construction features a 1-piece Maple TEW neck reinforced with two carbon rods for rock-solid stability and finished in smooth Antique Black Matt. The dark Macassar ebony fingerboard offers a sleek, plain face free of front inlays, framed by SB-20 Super Blue side dots for effortless navigation on dark stages. Fitted with 24 Ferd Wagner stainless steel frets across a 25.4" scale length and a 12" radius, this neck provides a fast, tactile playing surface built for technical rhythm and intricate lead work.
Sonically, the Aquila Cardinal Aged is powered by a boutique Velvetrone 6-string humbucker set—an Ironside in the bridge position paired with a Solium in the neck. Outfitted with sleek black covers and nickel screws, these pickups are wired with a Bourns 500kA volume pot featuring a Mayones Treble Bleed Mod and an Electroswitch 5-way lever selector. This setup offers a versatile range of voicings, from aggressive, high-gain punch to ultra-clean split-coil textures.
The hardware configuration is finished in sleek black, anchored by a Hipshot 6-string fixed bridge and Hipshot GripLock tuning machines. Complemented by a Graph Tech Tusq nut, Switchcraft jack, and Schaller Security Locks, this signature model stands ready for high-level tour and studio duties.

Really, there's no sales tax?
There's no sales tax outside of SC. Since we're a small business, we only have to collect sales tax on in-state orders.

Can I request a setup w/ my preferred strings?
Yes, but that will come at additional charge that varies depending on the guitar. Our Pro-Tech Setup is free for every guitar using its stock strings.
Do you ship internationally?

In short, please allow us up to three business days to ship your guitar. We do our Pro-Tech setups right before the guitar leaves us so that it is ready to play once it reaches you. Normally, it only takes a day or two for us to ship out your guitar.
