The Mayones Regius CoreGuard 6 in Antique Black Matt with Black Gold Mercury Swirl Gloss is an extraordinary, exhibition-grade instrument hand-built as a special showcase for GUITAR SUMMIT 2026. Featuring Mayones' signature neck-thru-body architecture paired with a striking CoreGuard carved top made of 3A Flamed Maple and Wenge, this flagship 6-string pairs deep swamp ash warmth with high-end structural rigidity and stunning visual contrast.

The guitar's neck-thru construction utilizes a massive 11-ply Maple-Mahogany-Wenge-Amazakoe laminate reinforced with two carbon fiber rods, finished in a sleek Antique Black Matt. The dark ebony fingerboard is bound with 3ply White ABS and Grey Perloid along the neck and headstock, featuring a flat 16" radius, double offset 4mm acrylic white dot inlays (bass-side frets 3–12, treble-side frets 15–24), and SBM-23 Super Blue side dots in black piping for dark stage environments. Outfitted with 24 Ferd Wagner stainless steel frets across a 25.4" scale length, it delivers effortless action and razor-sharp dynamic response.

Sonically, the Regius CoreGuard 6 is loaded with a boutique Velvetrone 6-string humbucker set—an Ironside in the bridge position paired with a Solium in the neck. Dressed in brushed nickel covers with black hex bolts, these pickups are wired to Bourns 500kA volume and tone pots (equipped with the Mayones Treble Bleed Mod) and an Electroswitch 5-way lever selector. This layout unlocks a vast array of tones, from crushing high-gain distortion to pristine, articulate split-coil cleans.

The all-black hardware appointments are engineered for rock-solid performance, centered around a Hipshot 6-string hardtail bridge and Hipshot GripLock 3+3 tuning machines. Complemented by a Graph Tech Black Tusq nut, Switchcraft jack, and Schaller Security Locks, this custom showcase model represents the peak of Polish boutique guitar building.
